As sons of God, we must keep the Word of God in our minds if we are to successfully stand against the Evil One. We are to put off the thoughts from the world and put on the mind of Christ.
(1 Corinthians 2:16 KJV) For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
(Colossians 3:9 KJV) Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
What thoughts are we to put off? Thoughts of sickness, hopelessness, despair. Thoughts that we will never get better. Thoughts that we’re not worth it, we’re undeserving. All of these are lies.
Instead, we are to put on the mind of Christ. We are to think the way Christ thought.
(Ephesians 2:24 KJV) And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
How did Christ think? Did he think he was the Son of God? Did he think he was victorious? Did he think that God loved him and wanted only the best for him? Of course, he did.
That’s what you’re going to think, too. You’re going to claim the healing that God has already given you in Christ. Each day, every time a thought that contradicts God’s Word comes into your mind, replace it with one of these scriptures.
We must put off before we can put on. We must replace the old thoughts with new ones or the old ones will come back. You can find more information on what to think about here.
(Ephesians 6:12 KJV) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
(2 Corinthians 10:5 NIV) We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
(Nahum 1:7,9b KJV) The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.
He will make an utter end of it. Affliction will not rise up a second time.
(Psalm 103:2-3 KJV) Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
(Psalm 119:50 NIV) My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.
(Psalm 30:2 KJV) O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
(Isaiah 54:17 KJV) No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
(Ezekiel 34:16 KJV) I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick.
(Isaiah 58:8 NIV) Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.
(Jeremiah 33:6 KJV) Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
(Isaiah 53:4-5 KJV) Surely He hath borne our griefs [Hebrew: sicknesses] and carried our sorrows [Hebrew: pains] yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of [that purchased] our peace was upon Him; and by His stripes we are healed.
(Jeremiah 30:17 KJV) For I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds, saith the Lord.
(1 Peter 2:24 KJV) Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
(Acts 5:16 KJV) Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.
(Romans 8:11 NIV) And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.
(Hebrews 7:25 AMP) Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost [completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity] those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them.
(Acts 13:38-39 KJV) Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
(Deuteronomy 11:21 KJV) That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
(Deuteronomy 7:15 KJV) And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you.
(Romans 8:32 KJV) He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
